St. James' Episcopal School was built on a foundation of love that honors the goodness and unique gifts of every child. It is with this love that your child is welcomed to class, encouraged to try, consoled when hurt, and inspired to learn. It is this love that is found in each and every SJES staff member.

Each staff member at St. James' is selected on the basis of education, experience, love for children and learning, and a nurturing and caring manner. All faculty and staff are subject to a criminal background check as well as an annual health review by a physician to ensure there are no disabilities that might prevent them from caring for children. Staff members are also trained in the recognition and reporting of suspected child abuse. Staff members certified in both First Aid and CPR are present at the school during school operation. SJES volunteers who work at the School are also subject to a criminal background check.

Each faculty and staff member can be reached by either the School telephone or their own School email account. In addition, each teacher has a class website that includes their monthly calendar, daily schedule, photos of their classroom, and a home page where you will find a note from the teacher along with reminders when needed.
