Vision.
The vision of St. James' Episcopal School
is to expand our outstanding, faith-based education through
twelfth grade. The SJES Board Strategic Planning Committee
is currently working on the five year strategic plan. This
plan is due to be finalized in the spring of 2011. Read

For the past three years our School has
dared to dream of the possibilities that lie before us.
We have been a leader in early childhood education in our
community for the past 27 years, and now, building on the
nurturing and loving environment which has grounded us for
over a quarter of a century, we begin a new journey. We continue
to embrace religion as essential to student learning and development
of character and spirit, while our Episcopal tradition seeks
to nurture and mature the whole child, investing in the intellectual
and spiritual promise of each student.
We invite you to join us as we imagine the future here at St.
James.
With the introduction of our first grade program in
2010-2011, it is the Schools intention to add second
through fifth grades in the current facility. The timeline
of these additional grades is dependent on parent interest
and resources. Beyond second and third grades, the School
has an imagination for what could be possible.
Building a school takes a commitment in
faith and in resources of time, talent and treasure.
We believe in this opportunity of expansion and invite you
to join us on this journey. For more information on what you
can do to help with the expansion of SJES, please contact
Board of Directors Chairperson Melanie
Lillard or Head of School Stacey
Irvin.
