Our Mission
The Saint James' Grandfriend Association celebrates the special role grandparents and special friends play in the life of Saint James’ Episcopal School. Its mission is to foster meaningful connections between generations, enriching the student experience and strengthening the bonds of our school community.
Our Purpose
Grandfriends bring wisdom, encouragement, and joy to our students and families. The SJGA provides opportunities for involvement in the spiritual, academic, and social life of the school — from sharing stories and talents to attending events and cheering on our students. Whether near or far, every grandfriend helps weave the fabric of support that surrounds our children as they grow.
How to Get Involved
Grandfriends are invited to:
- Attend special events like Grandfriends’ Day and school performances
- Volunteer in the school
- Share a skill, hobby, or story in the classroom
- Help with drives/fundraisers
- Support school initiatives through prayer, encouragement, resources or presence
- Join us at our annual Spring Gala and other community celebrations
